So you want a foreign bride....
This is advice, on finding a foreign bride, by someone who has been there and done it. Someone like you.
Before we start, please note that there are no Paypal or Credit Card icons at the bottom of this page, this is an information site. Another thing, mostly I will be referring to ladies from the former Soviet Union as "Russians" even though they can be from countries such as the Ukraine, Georgia, etc. places which are definitely not Russian. Similarly I will often refer to former Soviet republics as Russia, for the same reason. I am only using these generic terms because that is the way they are used in the Foreign Bride business, although I know it is wrong to use them like this. This site is not just about Russian women, though. It applies to ladies from Asia, Latin America and other regions, who are looking for foreign husbands.
Chances are you are here because you have started to make a search in earnest on the increasingly complicated and risky activity of finding a bride abroad. Gone are the good old days when you simply wrote a few letters, sent them by snail-mail and established the contact with some ladies. The business of introducing foreign ladies, to gentlemen from your country, has exploded beyond belief and it has brought hurdles and costs that you should not have to go through. Unfortunately, the foreign bride business has attracted a lot of unscrupulous people (scammers) who want a piece of the action and all they are doing is giving the serious providers, of services to find a foreign bride, a bad name. Further, they are only putting men off who are nervous about getting ripped-off and left with an empty wallet and no bride.
So what qualifies me to set up this site? Well I found my foreign bride through these methods. It took me six years, I made all the mistakes, got ripped-off, wasted time, got broken-hearted, you name it. So I am the one who can tell you what finding a foreign bride is really about from your point of view, not from the point of view of those who sell you the services to find a bride abroad. I can save you a lot of time, wasted money and heart ache. I went through it all because there was nobody to give me real advice. You see, the majority of the people who provide introduction services, to foreign ladies, have not even sought a partner like this. They are in it as a business, which is fine, but they do not have the experience of what happens outside their domain of introducing ladies to gentlemen.
Am I saying that it isn't worth looking for a foreign bride? Of course not, it works and some of you decided to have a go because you have met men in your world who have done it. They found a foreign wife and now they have settled down and can forget about the horrid business of putting themselves in the singles market in their own community, which can be a rather humiliating experience. I know I have been there. I am only saying that, the more complicated and full of traps the foreign bride business gets, the more you have to proceed with caution. But you can get there in the end.
This is the deal, I have a lot information about this because, not only did I spend a lot of time as a foreign bride seeker, but also it raised my interest and I have continued to research this business. As I have other things to do, I will continue to expand this site, with new articles and more information. Also, I will come back to the previous subjects regularly to add new information and feed-back I obtain. There is a cross-over of some information among articles, so if you read all of them, you may find that I have dealt with similar subjects in different articles.
Why are you and ladies abroad looking for someone far away?
A better question may be why do the people at the other end think that someone may be looking for them. What I am trying to say is think of the perception that the ladies have of men abroad, who are looking for a wife, and vice-versa. You have very good reasons for finding a bride from abroad, but what do these ladies think are the reasons why men from your country look for a foreign bride, specifically from their country? The truth is their sources of information are the introduction agencies, hear-say and the odd magazine or TV report on the matter. I will expand on this in the articles about agency profiles but, in general, those ladies think that men abroad are looking for a young, pretty girl to have children with.
What you hear, from people who like to exaggerate and make up stories about the invasion of foreign women in your country, is generally rubbish. You may have seen headlines such as "Myriads of starving foreign women are looking to use local men to escape abject poverty and live it up here". Russia is a richer country than many Asian, African and Latin American countries and yet it has, by far, the highest proportion of women looking for partners abroad. Clearly, there is no direct link between the wealth of a country and the number of women looking for a man abroad. The ladies abroad hear stories, too, about foreign men coming to their country to take advantage of local girls.
